Decked watertight throughout; self-righting; full positive buoyancy. A good sailor on all points, handy and without vices; good balance when reefed. Leeboards need no handling in tacking.

Large comfortable cockpit; cuddy has enough area for five adults to sleep, but is intended to be convenient for a couple using camp-type equipment; it's dry, well ventilated, with a good view out.
